130202 Kyuhyun's Father Facebook Update : I didn’t know how hard...


I didn’t know how hard it is to get tickets for SJM Fan Meeting in Taiwan until I went to the place where sells tickets. The capacity for each FM is about only 5,000. Some fans had been staying at 7-11 since 11:00 p.m. last night because if you are not the first one in line, it will be impossible to get the tickets since 7-11 is everywhere in Taiwan. The fact that all the tickets were sold out in one minute (actually it’s about 30 minutes. XD) is something I haven’t thought about before. Will my son, who grows up with fans’ love, know the fact? I will tell them that how hard the situation fans are in when they’re receiving those LOVEs. When I heard some fans who didn’t get tickets saying that they don’t want to live anymore, I felt heart-broken. Here I hope I can comfort you guys and express my love and gratitude as well. I love you.

*note: (I’ve modified some sentences to make you understand how we buy tickets in Taiwan.)

121127 LEETEUK's Father 4th Letter to His Son [ENG TRANS]

[TRANS] Teukdad letter to Leeteuk: "For our dear son Jungsoo"


in the 4 weeks that you have been training I have sent you 4 letters
Once per week is a little less right?
Today the army put pictures of you with the other soldiers online
Seeing your smiling face looks quite happy, but your slimness from training is a bit worrying as well
But seeing you interacting well with the soldiers, seems like you've accustomed yourself to the army to an extent, that is comforting
Yesterday your dad reminiscence when you were younger at what used to be the department store (it's the place we watched a play, it has been taken down and turned into a church)
When married come here, I think of back when you and your sister were small
That was back when the department store first opened
You two were so young, I don't know how you found out about the play. But you insisted on watching it so I brought your sisters and friends as well.
When we got there there were really a lot of people, your sister and friends went to stand on a truck and carried you on my shoulders, that event feels like yesterday.
I heard you really really like that play
Since then did you want to become a singer? But by our side you have never mentioned it
Right, on the 29th you will go to 30km night patrol, there were people who came to the cafe to ask but your unit is too far away. They told us to go later but by then you wouldn't be in that unit anymore. It's a shame.. Also, grandma and grandpa said they missed you so I showed them your picture, they say they want to see you in person
So next week when training ends, if it is not too shocking I will bring grandma and grandpa to come see you
Recently when I'm climbing mountains and feel tired I sing army songs, you probably know those songs very well by now.
Hope you will not get hurt in the army, always remain healthy

[Trans] 2nd Letter to Leeteuk from his father:

Training soldier Park Jungsu see this (First letter sent to your training location written on 11/8/2012) .. I worried that fans might forget you after you go to army but that was proven wrong. Instead, I worry that you won't be able to read this because of so much love from fans. It's been very cold after you enlisted. I wonder if you have caught a cold. How is it sleeping there? It may be uncomfortable but every Korean man has to sleep on it at least once in their lifetime so accept it with a happy heart.. I worry about your relationship with younger yet higher-ranked officers. I trust that you will be okay but sometimes a person can 'snap' and make mistakes. And 6th was Super Junior's 7th anniversary right? It feels like yesterday when you
called me after winning 1st place for the first time after debut on ___channel, saying "Appa we won 1st place." Looking back now, time is very fast.. You may be sad not being with the members you spent so much time together but forget everything in the society and focus on the duties as a soldier and recharge yourself. The 21 months are an experience you won't feel again in your life time so I think you will become much more mature afterwards. I heard that Eunhyuk's father will open a bakery about 200m away from my office.. It's lunch time. Eat well.. enough for today~~~ -To my beloved son-
